Tools

The equipment we offer at NYC Energy Tools is only half the picture — we also offer software tools that enable exploration of energy data, energy modeling, building controls assessment, environmental modeling and more.

Tools and applications are developed by The Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Division of Energy Management (DEM) and CUNY Building Performance Lab.

The equipment we offer at Energy Tools is only half the picture -- the measurements they generate are used in calculations to determine how well equipment is performing or how much energy was saved in a retrofit. This is where tools come in.
