Pump and Motor Kit (Constant-Speed)

Use this kit to assess the energy consumption (electricity usage) of a constant-speed, constant-volume pump and motor. There are two measurement strategies to measure this type of pump:

  1. Take spot measurements of power draw using a power meter and measure the hourly runtime of the motor using a motor on/off logger; one motor on/off logger per motor.
  2. Take spot measurements of power draw using a power meter and measure hourly electrical current using a 4-channel analog logger with current transformers.

Both strategies will require a power meter; only one power meter is needed.
